Instructions for WorldGate File Management

Markshire 2 Essentials

As you might assume Markshire is a Persistent World for NWN2. As such you need the game installed with the appropriate expansions in order to play. This means you need the following products to play on Markshire:

• Neverwinter Nights 2
• Mask of the Betrayer

Also available is Neverwinter Nights 2 GOLD which as you may guess both of the above products in one package.

In order to get in game you will need to download a variety of Markshire's custom content files and the necessary PWC file to define the walkable area of the module for your PC.

In an effort to streamline updating Markshire 2 files to the players we've installed and implemented WorldGate. WorldGate uses FTP to download all the current files and store them in the appropriate folders.

To install WorldGate:

• Download and extract the WorldGate Client to your computer ... ANYWHERE YOU WANT IT. Desktop is fine. Personally, I have mine in the Top level of my C: Drive.
  
• Once you have done that double click WorldGate Client.
  
• Click New.
  
• Click From URL.
  
• Type in www.markshire2.net and hit Enter.
  
• Click the Test & Exit.
  
• Markshire 2 :: Rise of the Titans should now be listed in the main WorldGate Client window.
  
• Click Check for New Files.

It will take a while the first time to download all of the files. After that only changes to the module's files will be downloaded.

So prior to logging in game run WorldGate Client and you'll be up-to-date.

If there's a major update to the files we'll post about it in Out of Game so you can download the files before you want to get in game.
